The legendary Lefevre Premier line continues with the addition of the new Reebok Premier X28 goal leg pad. Some of the most advanced technology for goaltending equipment was created by the Lefevre design team. The X28 pad is based around a single break, pre-curved core, allowing the goalie to shut the 5-hole tightly. The boot of the pad features a soft break, allowing the goalie to establish more explosive pushes across the crease while in butterfly. The leg channel of the X28 features a loose fit with two calf straps, aiding in rotation and seal to the ice. Additionally, the knee straps are adjustable at multiple locations, offering customizable options to suit every goalie's needs. Like the Premier XLT Pro, the X28 features a stiff face to the pad, providing lively rebounds to the corner and allowing the goalie to quickly recover. Compared to the Reebok Premier X24, the X28 will offer an upgrade in the material quality and core construction. If you are a competitive intermediate goalie looking for a pure butterfly style pad offering a perfect seal and excellent rotation, look no further than the Reebok Premier X28 goal pad.
